I'm the author of the WuCoco theme for Wordpress. I saw your site in my referrer logs and wanted to say thanks for porting the theme to a new CMS. It's great to see folks building and improving on the source.

I noted on the Altair download page that you state "This theme is for development and personal usage only." It might be good to reword that as a request or statement of author intent, since as is it reads a little like a licensing restriction which would be incompatible with the freedoms granted by the GPL.

The "views" you can define using Graffiti make alot of sense. I am still curious as to why I see .NET blogs using custom templating engines though. Why not use masterpages with user controls? From what I’ve gathered in the examples above, most of the code in the .view files is just html. What sort of advantages do you get with your custom system?

Great analysis showing people how to convert a theme from wordpress to Graffiti. It is great to see that the # of files required was reduced with this conversion. Great job!
